Big News!!

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially sold Briarwood Coastal Cottages & Lodge. It has been an incredible journey, and we are deeply grateful for the love and support from all of you, our family, friends, colleagues, and valued guests over the years.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible staff. You were so much more than employees—you became part of our family. Your dedication, care, and pride in what you did each day played such an important role in making Briarwood what it is today, and we are truly grateful.

Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.

Owning and operating Briarwood has meant so much to us, and we will always cherish the many memories and meaningful connections made along the way.

As of March 31, 2026, Briarwood Coastal Cottages & Lodge will be under new ownership as we close this chapter and begin our next adventure.

We would also like to extend our very best wishes to the new owners—the Kang family—as they take the reins. We wish them every success and know they will continue to create a welcoming and memorable experience for all who visit Briarwood.

Ontario, now's the time to mark your calendars and tell everyone you know, because this one's a doozy.

The Loblaw Small Supplier team is bringing us to their downtown Toronto flagship store for one day only, on December 6th (yes, this Saturday). I am bringing over a thousand sample bites to woo you, and they've chosen four handpie varieties to celebrate the season and fill a freezer display.

Fill your carts with these handpies:
Maritime Meat Pie (maybe the only place west of Atlantic Canada where you can find a turkey, pork and beef pie with summer savoury)
Chicken Pot Pie
Cheesy Potato & Onion

From 11am-6pm on December 6th, I'll be rocking the sampling station like a boss, and would LOVE to see you there.
