Hello Annapolis Royal! Big news! If you don't want to drive to Halifax next Wednesday to take part on the big rally against culture cuts, you can join the RALLY FOR CULTURE being planned right here in Annapolis Royal. Come to King's Theatre at noon on Wed. March 4. Bring signs, buttons, and your energy. We'll rally outside, then move inside for words, music, and more. Spread the word!

Arts and Culture are not frills. Culture is a driving economic force in Nova Scotia. For every federal dollar invested in the arts, Canada sees twenty-nine dollars in economic activity. In Nova Scotia, Arts, Culture & Heritage contributed $2.6 billion in GDP and supported 22,000 jobs.

These devastating cuts will affect all of us. Please write letters. Let the Minister, the Premier, and the MLAs know that this cannot go forward. Time is of the essence before the budget, so please send your letters in by March 4. Go here for resources:
