Forest Lodge Welcomes Our International Firefighting Partners

We are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to host these dedicated international firefighting crews here at Forrest Lodge.

As wildfires continue to impact parts of Canada, these brave men and women are working tirelessly to protect communities, forests, and lives. It is an honor to provide them with a place to rest, recharge, and prepare for the important work they do each day.

We would also like to recognize the incredible people of the Armstrong Station community. The way this community has stepped up to support these firefighting efforts has been truly remarkable. Their commitment, generosity, and countless hours spent helping protect their neighbors and surrounding communities have been nothing short of extraordinary. The work they have done is unbelievable and deserves to be recognized and deeply appreciated.

At Forrest Lodge, we believe that when communities come together, incredible things happen. We are proud to support these crews in any way we can and are thankful for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication shown by everyone involved.

Please join us in thanking the firefighters, first responders, volunteers, and the entire Armstrong Station community for their unwavering commitment during this challenging fire season. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are honored to play a small part in supporting your mission.

Unfortunately the road that leads to the lodge is closed and we do not have an expected date as when it will open. We will keep you informed as we learn new information.

We are incredibly grateful to share that we have received official confirmation that Forrest Lodge survived the wildfires. ❤️

Unfortunately, Highway 527 remains closed, so we are still unable to get back and see the lodge ourselves. As soon as we're able to return, we'll share more updates.

Thank you all for your prayers, kind words, and support throughout this difficult time. We truly appreciate every message! We can’t wait to see you there!

As many of you know, Forrest Lodge has been evacuated due to the wildfires. At this time, we're waiting for official word on when it's safe to return.

Our hearts are with all of the firefighters, emergency personnel, and everyone affected by these devastating fires. We are incredibly grateful for all those working tirelessly to protect our community.

Now we wait and hope. Most of all, we hope there's still a lodge to come back to. Forrest Lodge has been a place where so many memories have been made, and we're holding onto hope that many more are still to come.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with your thoughts, prayers, and support. It means more than you know. ❤️

As of 5/20/2026 there was STILL ice on the lake and the snow did some damage😲 but nothing we can’t handle!💪🏼

The countdown to the 2026 season is officially on, and we could not be more excited for warmer days, campfires, lake time, and making unforgettable memories. ☀️🐟🎣

We’re crossing our fingers that the upcoming warm weather finally sends the ice packing so summer fun can begin!
