A province-wide fire ban is now in effect in Newfoundland and Labrador. This ban will be in place until at least September 7, when a determination will be made about its status. Violating a fire ban can result in a fine of not less than $1,000

Before you know it, the 2024 Camping Season will be underway! Camping season opens at Jacks Pond Park on May 17th! Our Rustic Camping Shacks were so popular last year that we've built 2 more! A total of 4 Rustic Camping Shacks will be available this year for Nightly and Weekly Rentals! Perfect for those who enjoy Rustic Style Camping without the Tent! They're already booking fast, so book early for prime dates and to avoid disappointment!

Rustic Camping Shacks (Camping Pods)

Our Jacks Pond Park Rustic Camping Shacks are a fantastic option for those who enjoy rustic style camping without a tent. Each Rustic Camping Shack is located right along the shore of the pond and include a pull out couch, 2 chairs and a small corner table, along with picnic table and fire pit. All Camping Shacks include electricity and water. Campers will need to bring anything they’d normally require when camping with a tent (food, camp stove, cooking supplies/pans/dishes, etc)

The Comfort Station is only 300 feet away with includes washrooms and shower. Laundry facilities as well as the Convenience Store and Take Out are within a stones throw away.

All Camping Shacks are Pet Friendly.

We are asking all who use our golf course to please respect it and don't stand on the house stage etc. The boys worked hard and put a lot of time into making those for your enjoyment. Thank you.

JUST A FEW SHORTS WEEKS UNTIL CAMPING SEASON 2023 IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! Hopefully the weather decides to warm up sooner rather than later, but we won't let that spoil the fun! What's the one thing you're looking forward to this camping season!

It won't be long now until its camping season again! We're happy to announce some more additions to the park for the 2023 season! We've added mini-golf and a corn-in-the-hole court to enjoy!

In addition we're expanding the boat rentals! We've got paddle Boats, Aqua Bikes & Kayaks, and our New additions this year are Newfoundland Punt, Newfoundland Dory and Newfoundland Flat.

Prices will be determined by length of rental and the type of rental you require. Call or visit the Jacks Pond Park convenience store for pricing.
