What an absolute honour it was to be able to share in .bell.22 getting his first bear! And what a tank it was. It helps when Jake is the kind of client you dream of having as a guide. Awesome to have in camp, great hunter, and a lot of fun. I don’t look at him as a client, but a friend.

With the 2025 bear season over I now get to sit and reminisce on this past year. Seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and having people show up to camp as a once in a lifetime hunt only to have them rebook. I love what I do.

Sometimes they make you work for it. This big bruin gave us a tough track, but we found him! Went 170yds the night he was shot, came back the next morning and went another 375yds and found him piled up. It’s not often you find a dead bear at the end of suck a long track, but thankfully this time we did.
