An exquisite diner on site features home cooked meals, and is open from 6:00 am until 8:00 p.m. It is located at the corner of Hwy 623 and Hwy 11, half way between Thunder Bay and International Falls/Fort Frances via Hwy 11. The motel overlooks beautiful Niobe Lake, with boats and keyak rentals available to guests. The area features the best of hunting and fishing in the heart of lake country. You

r hosts are Mike and Linda Fogg. Mike is an avid outdoorsman, specialing in guided fishing and hunting excursions. Linda is an accomplished artist, and the diner and motel rooms are decorated with her artwork. Together they built their dream and hope to share the beauty of their creation with their guests. Happy Thanksgiving everyone far & wide from Sapawe Motel, Cabins and Diner! Turkey dinner with all the fixin's on the menu tomorrow, or just drop in for coffee & a buttertart. A couple more good days and we will have the deck painting done, a special thank you to Ingela for braving the scaffolding!

Couldn't work on the painting today as I took time to slide out fishing with Mike, skunked, as I did not have my lines prepared...but what a fun outing. Our side by side is awesome, went through the narrow portages np, very comfy, it reminded me of being in a plane, it went so fast over the lake!

7 Campers came today from the US, it took them 8 hrs to get here, after a nice supper in the diner, they pitched their tents on the flat part of the lawn and are now enjoying the fire barrel and getting ready to turn in. They are ready for their adventure into Quetico Park tomorrow....
