Each spring we plant more trees… so many trees! Through the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority tree program, we have planted over 400 trees in the past 4 years! Some get placed in our sites for shade, privacy, and wind blocks, some get planted on the flood plains closer to the river to assist with the watershed projects.

This year was a lot of cedar and spruce trees, but we also have planted sycamore, maples, oaks, tulip and so many more varieties native to the area.
