McIntyre’s Cottages

Located just five minutes from the beautiful village of Baddeck, McIntyre housekeeping Cottages was established in 1995 and the Cameron House in 2003, by Ron McIntyre and his wife, the late Verne McIntyre, who designed each cottage as well as the Cameron house, to perfection. The cottages are equipped with all the amenities you may need for your perfect getaway. McIntyre cottages truly feels like a “home away from home”. We can accommodate you in a 1 or 2 bedroom cottage that sleeps 2-6 or we also offer the larger Cameron house which sleeps 6-8 comfortably. Enjoy your perfect summer getaway on the front verandah with the sun shining, followed by an evening BBQ & bonfire while you watch the sun go down over the Bras d’Or lake. If you’re travelling in the winter you can leave right from McIntyre cottages and the Cameron house with your cross country skis or snow shoes and direct access for snowmobilers to Cape Breton Highlands .This unique feature makes McIntyre cottages an ideal location for snowmobilers! No matter what season you stay with us you will take in a breath of fresh air and be surrounded by a panoramic view of the Bras’ d’Or Lake
