Hurricane Fiona may have had a significant impact on Cape Breton Island over the last week but Fiona couldn't blow away the Island's resiliency. The Celtic Colours International Festival has been a mainstay of Cape Breton Island festivals that continues to impress audiences with amazing musical performances and incredible autumn scenery. The 2022 Celtic Colours International Festival begins this Friday, October 7th and continues until Saturday, October 15th. We can't wait for Celtic Colours to begin so we can once again.

We are open for business!

An Update for Visitors

Much of Cape Breton Island is again open for business. Most tourism operators in Inverness County, Richmond County, Port Hawkesbury, Victoria County and the Sydney area have reopened and are again welcoming guests.

There are some tourism operators who are still awaiting power or are repairing damages. If you have a booking, we encourage you to reach out to those operators to confirm their situation.
