What's on my mind? hmmmmm.....
A bit of a heavy heart thinking about all the things that have "accidentally left with the wrong owner" in all the years of doing this, and how things might change because of it.
They won't. It was just stuff, very hurtful just the same.
The personal challenge is not to let it change me from being the person I want to be, and reflecting that in how I run this business.
25 years on the honour system. Does it work?

We pride ourselves in having the world's finest campers, but we're not idiots. Being a good human is not a high bar to set, and we remain eternally grateful to our crazy collection of good humans.
Much respect to Leigha and the minions for sharing our vision and keeping it rolling.
Here's to another great camping season! Thank you.

Grab a coffee and sit back for a bit of a read.
We are excited to see reservations coming in, and for those that are first timers, here's some info on how we roll.
We take care of people, it's what we do. We try our best to provide preferred accommodation for those requiring shelters, but nothing is guarantied. If I bring a tenter back from the hospital, we do our best to take care of his bike and get him back here. If all the beds are occupied, someone gets kicked out because now we have someone that needs a bed more than you do. A few cabins have power and we do our best to reserve those for folks with a medical need (ie. CPAP machines). If this seems like an inconvenience you can't handle, please make your reservation elsewhere. We are happy to suggest local hotels and make some calls for you. This is not a judgement. You will always be welcome to stop by for coffee and enjoy time with your friends that have chosen to stay.
I'm an old lady and this has been my home for 50 years. I love sharing it with you, and mutual respect keeps the place humming. No deposits taken and you pay what you owe on your way out. Just please keep us informed if your plans, group size, arrival date etc. change. Nothing gets in the way of a good bike trip more than a plan!
We couldn't keep going without Leigha's help, so go easy on her. She's handling all the phone calls and emails and is a real person with a real life, just like you and the rest of us.
This isn't a bitch, it's the sharing of information.
Grant and I are truly looking forward to another great summer, but we just might be out riding when you get here. Stay safe.

Well we made it through the holidays and I’ve recovered from NYE so You know what that means..
