The Fall is so beautiful and it’s my most favourite time of the year!! 🍂

Simplyglamping feels like she is taking the time to breathe out and relax after a very busy summer of meeting so many wonderful new guests and reconnecting with past guests. It’s been a perfect time of new experiences, new and old faces, fun stories, but, most importantly, Wayne and I have had the opportunity to do what we love most, and that is to share this wonderful place we call SimplyGlamping with an even wider circle of Friends! This couldn’t be more perfect and makes our hearts sing. 💖 Thank-you everyone for making that possible. 😁

As summer fades into Fall, Simply Glamping takes on a different look as the leaves change colour and the clear night sky’s fill with stars. Have you ever tried laying on a trampoline after dark, staring up at the night skies and just imagining? It’s a pretty powerful experience.

A short bike ride .. or two minutes by car .. right around the corner from Simply Glamping. Kayak rentals are easily done online and it was a beautiful day at Thunderlake Provincial Park for a peaceful paddle. We saw several families of Canada geese and watched a stunning sunset over the water.

Then back ‘home’ to our Dome for a relaxing fire to roast marshmellows and s’mores.

CHRISTMAS in June!  What a beautiful day we had to kick back and enjoy our wonderful family here at SimplyGlamping. In a busy world with busy lives and things happening all around us, sometimes we forget to remember that the most joyous times are times spent with those we love. So we had Christmas in June today! Laughing, connecting and sharing Love. As a Special Bonus there was a Birthday to celebrate.🎉

The maintenance of our beautiful trail system means monitoring for any trees that have come down blocking the trail and clearing them away, but also paying attention to trees at our nearing the end of their life which means they could come down in a storm or high winds. So we watched that closely and take out any trees that could be a hazard. The wood is never wasted. The parts of the tree that remain healthy are turned into lumber, and all our dome kitchens are built from trees taken from our forest then repurposed for building materials or firewood. The trees are generous in so many ways and it’s because of them we have such beautiful trails.
