The North Shore Suite is a very clean, quiet basement suite located close to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Georgian College, near the north shore of Kempenfelt Bay, Lake Simcoe in Barrie ON. We are single-listing Airbnb Hosts, welcoming you to enjoy the comfort of our basement suite located in our family home.

*Perfect little 'Home Away from Home' for the working professional. We are available to offer recommendations throughout your stay. Perfect space for the business traveller. Everything you need (minus the groceries) to prepare your own meals and live as you would at home. Comfortable environment for when you need to work from home. Parking is available for one vehicle. Utilities (including internet) included. Fully furnished basement Suite, just bring your suitcase and your groceries. Quiet Suite with designated work-from-home station, including an ergonomic sit/stand desk. Wifi is fast for streaming and conferencing on video calls, or you can stream your device to the Chromecast on the tv. Netflix and Amazon Prime tv are also available. A small patio in the front is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of (insert favorite drink). Dishes/utensils/cooking utensils are available. Appliances are available to prepare your own home-cooked meals...

* Included in the reservation is a weekly wash'n'fold. Each week we will provide a complete set of fresh linens for the NSS (kitchen cloths, bathroom cloths and towels, couch blanket, bedroom sheets, pillowcases comforter, and pillow shams). It's a simple weekly trade-off of linen baskets; clean for dirty. When the NSS is occupied, I rely on my Guests to keep the Suite clean and tidy during their stay. I will continue to clean and sanitize the laundry room, staircases, and frequent touchpoints outside of the NSS. Check-in and check-out are contactless. Guests will be provided with directions and a personal door code 2 days prior to arrival. Guests who are booked in the North Shore Suite are welcome to enjoy the front patio. The Suite is self-contained and private. The laundry facilities are a shared area.

The Barrie Police Service has set up a central phone line for anyone who needs assistance related to the tornado in Barrie. Please call 705-728-8442 - call takers will take callers’ information to ensure a follow-up from the proper organization.

The North Shore Suite is located moments from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Georgian College (University Partnerships), and Barrie's downtown business district.
Private and contact free. These are perfect accommodations for the business professional. You take care of business, we take care of 'home'. Everything you need to live as you would at home. Just bring your suitcase and some groceries.
