We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of our event. We thank the islanders for generously donating their time and energy to entertain us. We also extend our gratitude to Ramsey Gosse and Albert Barrett for their remarkable performances. Thank you to Noreen Holmes and Sherry Bradbury for assisting with the 50-50 draw, and to our Shearstown Brass Band for ending the night on a high note. We are grateful to Aubrey Bishop for his generosity in donating his 50-50 winnings back to the lodge, and to all band members and lodge members who worked together to make this event a success. Lastly, we thank everyone who came out to support us and show their appreciation. Your unwavering support means the world to us. All proceeds will go towards our community days on July 14th in Butlerville.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends on the passing of MW Bro. Ralph Roberts.

Not only will he be deeply missed but the knowledge he accumulated over a life time of dedication and leadership in our order helped shape the Loyal Order to what it is today. Rest easy Brother

It is much sadness and regret to report that MW Bro & Sir Knight Ralph C. Roberts passed away early this morning. MW Bro Roberts was a long time and dedicated member of Prince of Wales LOL # 26 and Earl of Erne RBP # 923 Cupids. MW Bro Roberts was a past Grand Chaplin of Grand Orange Lodge of Canada, past Grand Master Royal Black Institution in Canada,1991-92, past Grand Master of Grand Orange Lodge of NL, 1969-71, past Grand Master of Grand Black Chapter of NL, 1981-83, & Grand Master of The Loyal Orange Young Britons of Canada, 1964
Final arrangements will be announced later.

Swing wide the doors of the great Grand Lodge in heaven a true iconic Orangeman is coming home,.may his name be inscribed in the Lamb's Book of life and may he indeed rise in Glory ,.please keep his family and lodge brothers in our thoughts and prayer today and in the sad days ahead
