Have you ever seen a monarch butterfly’s “tongue”? 🦋

Take a close look! As a monarch emerges from its chrysalis, its two-part feeding tube—called a proboscis—actually zips together to form one incredible tool for drinking nectar from flowers.

It’s just one of the amazing details we get to observe up close in the Fair Havens Outdoor Classroom. 🌿

And you can be part of a monarch’s journey!

🦋 Sponsor a butterfly for $10 or more through our Outdoor Creation Experiences program. When your monarch is ready, you’ll have the opportunity to wing tag and hand-release it for its first flight!

You’ll also receive a certificate and, if your butterfly is observed along its incredible 4,000 km migration to Mexico, you’ll be notified!

Week 4 Family Camp Highlights! 🏕️🎉

Another great week at Fair Havens! From the energy of the Matt Lefait concert and the fun of our Family Fun Fair, to creation experiences, pickleball, and plenty of time together, there was something for everyone.

And of course, we were blessed by some great chapel speakers who helped make this week about more than just the activities.

🎉 **Giveaway Winners!** 🎉

We were so excited to welcome our Family Camp Giveaway winners to Fair Havens for an unforgettable week of rest, fun, community, and faith. After their stay, they shared these kind words with us:

“Thank you so much for blessing our family with an unforgettable week! It was the exact refreshing break we needed, filled with wonderful meals, endless activities, and excellent youth programming (our kids loved The Rock and XT!). Beyond all the fun playing pickleball, at the beach, and exploring the grounds, we are so thankful for the heart of your ministry. The solid teaching from Ian and John, paired with the genuine warmth of the staff, volunteers, and guest community, created a space where we felt closer to God through our connections with others.
