TELL ME HOMESICKERS.... Have you ever seen these places on Bell Island? And my question... why did we have two piers?

The Pier & The Old Pier

1. An old mine shaft (cave) located partway up the cliff beside the waterfall at The Pier. And it contains an old ore cart inside.
2. Vew from above the OLD PIER where the carts travelled across the island and led down to the awaiting ships.
