We'd like to take a moment to update our community on the passing of Ivan Anderson. Ivan passed on June 24th after a difficult winter with health complications. Ivan dedicated the last 25 years of his life to building Bellevue Beach Campgrounds and we are all eternally grateful for his efforts to both modernize the infrastructure while also carefully conserving this vast and incredible nature beauty. He truly felt Bellevue Beach was the most beautiful place in the world and, to his last day, loved to listen to the crashing of the waves and to look out at the bay of that never-ending horizon line. His heart and soul will always be felt when we walk the beaches.

Thanks for all of your condolences and words of support. And a special thank you to Maxine, Ruby, Bill, Berkley, and Kevin who have continued to keep the Park running through these difficult times.

Its with great sadness that we announce that Ivan Ellis Anderson, of Chance Cove, passed peacefully at his home in Bellevue Beach with his loving wife, Maxine, by his side. Ivan was born on September 10th, 1948 to parents Louise and James Anderson in Chance Cove. He is remembered as
