Stoney Bay Campground

Stoney Bay Campground We offer UNSERVICED Rv and Tenting sites on Delaronde Lake. Well TREED, LARGE camping sites. Located 10 kms out of Big River. Well Treed, Large camping sites.

We live on the same property as the campground so we are here all summer long. There is a government boat launch just down the road approx. 200m from the campground which you are welcome to use free of charge. We have firewood for sale or you are welcome to bring your own. We do have a septic dump. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. Bring your generators, quiet time is between 1

0pm to 8am. We do allow quads but they can not have a loud exhaust ...quiet time is at 10pm and only from point A to point B ( going to get water, firewood or from site to site) and must obey the speed limit. Rates
- day camping $15
- overnight camping $20
- weekly camping stay 7 nights $140
- monthly camping $350
- seasonal camping May 1 - Sept 30 $1155 bush site or 1417.50 for lake view sites weather permitting. You are responsible for maintaining your site ( grass cutting, fire pit cleaning)

- fire wood $10 per wagon load
- septic dumping $5 per dump per camper
- seasonal site maintenance $15 per week

All camp sites include fire pit and picnic table

Delaronde Lake is a great lake for boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and also has great fishing! Delaronde Lake is 36 miles long and over 140 feet deep at the north end which makes for great fishing ~ Pickerel ( Walleye ) , Jackfish ( Northern Pike ) , Perch & Whitefish

Good morning everyone. Just a heads up on the snow situation here at the campground. We still have over a foot of snow on the roads so we will not be open for awhile yet. We will keep you updated. Got some nice weather on the way so it shouldn’t be too long.

📢 Water Treatment Plant – Tank Fill Upgrade Coming Soon

Town of Big River would like to inform residents and water‑fill customers that an upgrade to the Water Treatment Plant tank fill system will be taking place in the very near future.

As part of this upgrade, the coin‑operated payment option will be removed. In its place, we will be installing a credit and debit card unit, allowing customers to pay a per‑use charge quickly and conveniently.

Customers currently using access codes will be able to continue doing so without interruption.

We appreciate your patience during this transition and look forward to providing a more reliable and user‑friendly system for everyone. Further updates will be shared as installation progresses.
