For 50 years, three generations of our family have been coming to this beautiful place Pacific Playgrounds Oceanside Resort creating memories that have become part of who we are. We have all shared the magic of this campsite—salmon fishing, swimming in the river and ocean, watching whales pass by, and simply enjoying the incredible beauty that surrounds us. Over the years, so many other family members and friends have joined us, and we have made lifelong friendships here as well. It’s more than just a campsite; it’s a place filled with family, tradition, laughter and memories. There is something so special about returning year after year and watching the next generation fall in love with the same place. We feel incredibly lucky to have had 50 years here, and we hope this tradition continues for many more generations to come.

A few drone snapshots from an incredible day on the water with James and the crew at .

We left from Pacific Playgrounds Oceanside Resort explored Desolation Sound, stopped at Refuge Sauna spotted whales and caught a few fish.

Chef Michelle from Crown Mansion Boutique Hotel then cooked up a fresh local catch and local farmers veg right aboard James’s new landing craft before we headed home at sunset.

We're looking for someone to help keep the Resort's grounds welcoming, tidy, and well cared for throughout the fall season. The role includes flowers, weeding, garden beds, and general landscaping support, with a focus on maintaining the natural beauty and relaxed coastal setting that our guests enjoy.

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking person who enjoys outdoor work, notices the details, and takes pride in a job well done.

Experience with gardening or landscaping is an asset.
