Conquer the Mummery Glacier: An Epic Adventure Awaits! 🏔️

Ready for a challenge? The Mummery Glacier hike is a demanding but incredibly rewarding trek that will take your breath away (literally!). 😅

This 7.4km out-and-back trail near Field, BC, boasts a significant 844m elevation gain, offering stunning views and a true sense of accomplishment. While AllTrails rates it as challenging, the reward is reaching a stunning glacier! ❄️

Here’s the inside scoop: you can shave off some uphill by driving partway up the logging road (saving about 1km). The official trail ends at a creek and a broken bridge, but the adventure doesn’t stop there! Cross the creek (using fallen trees, if you’re brave!) and follow the inukshuks to the glacier. 🌲🏞️

Expect to trek through beautiful old-growth forests and experience the raw beauty of the Canadian Rockies. This hike is perfect for those seeking solitude and an unforgettable experience.
