The icebergs have started to arrive and they are plentiful! I am hearing reports of them appearing in many different areas. This was taken a few minutes ago from our deck. Let’s hope we see more coming closer to shore!

We are thrilled to share that Discovery UNESCO Global Geopark recommended for a Green Card following our revalidation mission this summer!

This achievement reflects the dedication of our board, staff, partners, volunteers, and communities across the Bonavista Peninsula who work together every day to protect and celebrate our geological and cultural heritage.

Thank you to everyone who continues to champion our Geopark. This recognition belongs to all of you. Together, we are building a stronger, more sustainable future for our region.

We are more than halfway through our busy season and we’ve had the most wonderful guests all summer long. It’s always such a pleasure when we receive comments, notes and reviews from people who have enjoyed their stay with us.
