There has never been a better time to choose Canada. 🇨🇦

To travel here. To celebrate here. To eat local, shop local and discover a little more of this incredible country we call home.

At Sweet Salal, supporting local has always been part of what we believe in. From the people we work with and the food we serve to the couples, families and guests who choose Bowen Island for some of life’s most memorable moments.

And right now, choosing Canadian feels a little more important.

You don’t always have to cross a border to find somewhere extraordinary.

Sometimes it’s a ferry ride away.

This year, explore Canada. Support Canadian businesses. Eat Canadian food. Celebrate Canadian places.

We’ll be right here on Bowen Island. 🇨🇦

There’s something special about gathering around the grill, especially when Chef Robert Clark is the one behind it. 🔥

We had the pleasure of welcoming celebrated BC chef Robert Clark to Sweet Salal, where he brought the outdoor kitchen to life with an incredible meal cooked over the BBQ.

Good food, fresh air, great company, and the beauty of Bowen Island all around you. This is exactly what Sweet Salal was made for — experiences that feel relaxed, personal, and a little bit unforgettable.

Congratulations, Sam & Courtney! 🤍

What a beautiful day celebrating such a wonderful couple and family at Sweet Salal.

Sam and Courtney gathered their loved ones for an intimate outdoor wedding, with family staying together at Sweet Salal for the weekend. From the ceremony surrounded by nature to an incredible meal prepared by Chef Robert Clark, it truly a beautiful celebration.

Beautiful food, a beautiful setting, and most importantly, a whole lot of love.
