🌦️ What Happens if the Weather Doesn’t Cooperate?
One of the most common questions we get is what happens if you have a Paddle Bros class booked and the forecast isn’t looking ideal.
The short answer: we keep a very close eye on the weather and always put safety first.
Weather forecasts can change quickly, especially around the lakes, so sometimes I will still head to the location before making a final call to ensure we’re making the right decision based on actual conditions rather than just the forecast.
If a class needs to be cancelled due to weather, you’ll be offered:
• A credit for a future class
• A refund (minus any online booking fees paid through the website)
• The option to transfer into another available class
That said, not every class is cancelled because of a little wind or light rain. Many participants are happy to continue with slightly less-than-perfect conditions, and we always prioritize safety by providing life jackets for every paddler and adjusting plans as needed.
Learn to Paddle classes follow the same guidelines. When you’re new to paddle boarding, strong winds can make learning more challenging and can quickly push us around on the water, so we’ll always assess conditions carefully before proceeding.
And the good news? ☀️
The forecast is currently looking fantastic for our first Clear Lake class next Sunday! Warm temperatures, beautiful scenery, and the perfect way to kick off another summer on the water.
We can’t wait to see you there!
