Hello all,

Sorry to say this but we, Robyn & Oliver, have decided that we are not opening the park this year. Last summer and this winter were the final year of operation. We thank you all for being with us for these years.

We will post updates as necessary and answer your questions as best we can over the next few weeks and months. For now we are putting out the following information.

1. The electric and water systems will not be started up this year.
2. Gate access will be controlled. If you want access you will have to stop at the house to get the gate opened or a temporary code.
3. Deposits, where applicable, will be returned once the sites are relatively cleaned up.
4. No fees will be collected during this period but we do reserve the right to limit access or impose a fee for access if it becomes an issue where someone is not acting appropriately.
5. It is expected that everyone can make arrangements by the end of June to clear their sites.

We all have different life situations and try to make it the best we can. Thank you

Sincerely
Robyn & Oliver

Hi Campers
End of season is approaching, power and water will be shut off on Oct. 15 (Sunday). Winter storage fees of $226 are due by Nov. 1st. Fees paid after that date will be $339. Please ensure that only campsite related equipment is stored on site, no boats, cars, household or construction materials are left on site.
We have found that email transfers to [email protected] are the best way to ensure that both parties have a record of the payment. If paying for someone else please indicate that in the payment. If paying by cash or cheque, Robyn will be at the park Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday. Please contact her at that time. Access to the park after Nov 1 will have to be made through arrangements with either of us. Roads will be closed however, you are welcome to enter by foot. If you are pulling your trailer out please do so by Nov 1. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks,
Robyn & Oliver

Hello Campers, we have had some issues with the disposal of inappropriate items being placed in the bin. We cannot take appliances or any non-camping, non-disposable garbage. Recently a full sized fridge and now a fireplace has been placed there. Others have been bringing outside garbage in. We do have a burn pile in the middle of the field for clean burning wood, we also have a metal scrap pile that can be accessed with approval, removal of dangerous materials from fridges for example. Let's all try to make this work. Many thanks for your co-operation.

Hi Campers

Once again the season is about to start. Fees are $1,950 ($2,203.50 with HST) for electric /water sites while sewer sites are $2,150 ($2,429.50 with HST). We are around this coming weekend April 28, 29, 30 to collect fees and program gate cards. Electric and water will be mostly on but may be turned off for short periods to tune the system. Roads are dry but the grass is still wet and will be muddy in the usual spots, please take care while it is soft. Washrooms should be open for use. see you there

Hi campers

News for the end of season is ...

We are planning to shut the electricity and water off on Monday the 18th of October and the gate cards will be active until the 1st of November.

Winter storage fees are due before Nov. 1 and are $192.10 including the HST. Invoices and receipts can be picked up at the park after Nov. 1 or emailed if you give us an address to send them to. Sorry but no camper party is being planned at this time.

Best option for payment is by email to '[email protected]', cheques or cash can be left at the house only if someone is there to accept them, young Oliver or Ashley.

Next season is undetermined at this point but all signs are that we will be operating as usual. Assuming Covid is done the washrooms will be open. We are looking for some help in cleaning and maintenance and can pay $20 per hour, let us know.

We hope you had at least a peaceful stay at the Park this year, if you are planning on a move then let us know pls. Access to the park will be restricted to certain days only during the winter season to spare the roads.

Have a safe offseason, thanksgiving, Christmas etc.

Robyn and Oliver

Hello

Apparently Stage 1 opening for Ontario is starting earlier than the 14th. Starting this Friday, June 11, we will be opening to full season campers. We will collect fees and program the gate cards for summer's access.

Keep in mind that there are still provincial rules/laws to follow, most notably the number of people allowed to gather. For everyone's benefit, please don't violate these rules. Keep visitors to a minimum and make sure they know that are required to pay to visit.

Hope this works and everyone can make the best of the season.

Hello campers ...

We have not heard any new news about the re-opening for seasonal trailer parks so for now we are assuming that the legal opening is June 13/14 as projected.

Our plans are to have the electricity running right away. The water will be available once it is tested and approved, definitely before opening.

You can make arrangements with Robyn at (226) 388-4724, starting Thursday June 3/21, to gain access to your site to get it ready for the opening, or pull your trailer out, as the case may be. These access appointments will be either 10am_3pm, or 4pm_9pm time slots, with 3 sites allowed at a time, no gatherings please.

We will not be collecting any fees or programing gate cards until the following weekend which is Sat Jun 12. We will open as soon as the Ont. Gov. says we can. Hopefully this is earlier than June 13/14 but they may extend the closing. We may ask each site to sign a copy of the Covid rules so it is understood what they are and what we expect.

I hope this helps ... call Robyn on Thursday to get your time set aside.

Hello campers,

It appears that campgrounds are allowed to open up under the 1st stage of re-opening for Ontario and our government estimates that will be on June 14.

If anyone has better information then feel free to message me with a link. I will look at anything has solid info about the situation.

Grass cutting is underway to keep it under control and we will cut the sites where it is easy enough to do.

I'm hoping that soon we can allow scheduled visits. Possibly early day & late day visits, two sites at a time. When I have better information I will let you know.

stay tuned

R & O

TO ALL OF OUR CAMPERS ... HERE IS A SAMPLE OF THE RESTRICTIONS FOR THOSE PARKS, SIMILAR TO OURS, THAT ARE "OPEN".

Seasonal campers who have a full season contract are permitted to enter the campground and remain at their trailers during the Stay-at-Home Order with the following restrictions:

If you have no other residence in Ontario.
If you come to your trailer and stay for less than 24 hours, you must return home.
If you do come to your trailer and stay longer than 24 hours, you must remain on the campground for 14 consecutive days before leaving for non-essential reasons. If you need to leave for any non-essential reason, you cannot return to the campground for 14 days.
You are permitted to leave the campground for essential purposes only such as grocery, medical appointments, pharmacy, exercise, caregiving, school, and work that can not be done remotely.
Gatherings: You are not permitted to gather indoors or outdoors with anyone you do not live with. A person who lives alone may join with one other household.
Caregivers may continue to provide care for another person, such as children, an ill spouse/partner, or an aging relative.
Physical distance must be maintained of not less than 2m from everyone else.
Golf carts: all persons riding on a golf cart must reside at the same residence.
This will remain in effect until the Provincial Stay at Home Order is lifted or legislation is amended. Once the order is lifted, we will return to the colour-coded system and an updated Code of Conduct will be issued.

NOW ... WE HAVE NO INTENTION OF COLLECTING FEES AND TRYING TO ENFORCE THIS SH*TE. AT THE PRESENT TIME, JUNE 2 IS THE DATE THAT THE STAY AT HOME ORDER IS LIFTED. WE UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATION. IF, AFTER READING THIS, YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR TRAILER WE CAN ARRANGE ACCESS.
