And just like that… another summer season at McLauchlan Manor has come to a close. 🥹❤️

What a season it has been...

We welcomed families, friends, wedding guests, travellers from all over the world, returning visitors and plenty of new faces through our doors — and somehow, each group left a little piece of their story behind.

Reading words like “felt at home,” “lovingly prepared,” “spotless,” “the perfect spot,” and “we would happily stay again” means more to us than our guests probably realize. This old house takes a whole lot of work, but seeing people gather here, laugh together, soak in the hot tub, explore the property and simply enjoy being together is exactly what makes it worthwhile.

To every guest who chose McLauchlan Manor for part of their 2026 summer: thank you. Thank you for treating our home with care, for your kind messages, your beautiful reviews and for being apart of our story.

The suitcases have rolled out, the summer season is officially closed, and the Manor is getting a well-earned rest...well sort of...

As we do each fall and winter, McLauchlan Manor takes on a different kind of role. ❤️

We open our doors to students from our neighbouring college to join us, giving them a place to settle in, feel at home, and begin the next chapter of their future in the warmth and care of the Manor.

So while our guest season may be over, the house is never really quiet for long, which is exactly how we like it. It simply shifts from summer adventures to study nights, shared meals, new friendships and another season of memories being made.

So this isn’t goodbye.

We’ll be waiting to welcome you back next summer for more good company, beautiful views and memories made at McLauchlan Manor. 🌸☀️🥂
