Fresh bread. Local eggs. Homemade jams.

This is what mornings look like at The Granville Affair.

We're proud to partner with local favourites like C.J. Nob's Farm Market & Greenhouse (www.cjnobs.ca) where every loaf is baked with care and every bite tells a story of the Annapolis Valley.

Because breakfast should be more than a meal.

It should be part of the adventure.

Reserve your getaway and wake up to the flavours of Nova Scotia.

Where does breakfast come from?

At the Granville Affair every morning is a feast, a hearty breakfast to set up your day of adventure in the Annapolis Valley or along the coast of the Bay of Fundy.

Breakfast is local… really local. The bacon and sausages come from D'Aubin Family Meats (www.daubinfamilymeats.com), where the family works closely with local farmers to enhancing our local economy and food sustainability. Most importantly their meats are delicious. Absolutely delicious… and butchered with excellence.

A stay at the Granville Affair is more than just relaxation and pampering. It’s a whole experience, that sets you up for exploring the wonders of our countryside.

One of the older Pride Flags had six simple colours. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple. It was not so much a symbol of resistance, but rather a statement of existence.

Each Colour has a meaning. They are meanings that are relevant to us all. They speak about existence, and how we can live together. Each of us interprets them a little differently. This is how we see it today.

Red celebrates Life – life lived to its full. Life lived together.

Orange celebrates Healing – we all have various degrees of hurt and pain to overcome

Yellow celebrates the Sun – which lifts our hearts (especially after a long winter)

Green celebrates Nature – which we all share and totally rely upon

Blue celebrates Harmony – enough said!

Purple celebrates Spirit – we are more than our physical beings, and spirit is expressed by us all through many traditions.

Pride Month is a celebration of the LGBTQ community. It is also a celebration of vital caring and openness for us all.

Pride season is upon us — and here at The Granville Affair, every guest is welcomed exactly as they are. 🌈

From June 20–26, we’re proud to celebrate alongside .valley.pride and the beautiful communities that make the Annapolis Valley such a vibrant, inclusive place to explore.

And while there are festivities to enjoy, Pride here can also look like slower mornings, open windows, long coastal drives, winery afternoons, antique shops, ocean air, and the freedom to simply relax and feel comfortable being yourself.

One of the things we love most about Bridgetown is how connected everything feels.

Digby is just 40 minutes away.
Wolfville sits about 45 minutes in the other direction.
Pride celebrations are an easy 40-minute drive.

From here, the entire Annapolis Valley — along with the rolling shores of the Bay of Fundy — feels beautifully within reach.

Whether you’re coming for the celebrations, the scenery, or a quieter kind of escape, we’re ready to welcome you with warmth, comfort, and hospitality that feels personal.

Inclusive by design, not by trend. ✨

Discover a private, design-forward stay in Bridgetown—your central base for exploring the Annapolis Valley. Quiet luxury, curated experience, and unmatched access.

The pots are planted.

The grass has already been cut - twice!!

The windows are open, the light is pouring in, and another Annapolis Valley season is beginning to unfold.

As the Victoria Day long weekend winds down, Bridgetown settles into that beautiful rhythm we wait all winter for — slower mornings, fresh air drifting through heritage homes, winery afternoons, coastal drives, and evenings that stretch just a little longer.

Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a quiet reset, or simply a weekend away with good food and beautiful surroundings, The Granville Affair is ready to welcome you.

The perfect place to explore the whole of the Annapolis Valley.
A perfect place to experience the Bay of Fundy✨

Long weekend energy feels different in the Annapolis Valley.

Apple blossoms are beginning to unfurl, the backroads are impossibly green, and the first warm evenings of the season invite slower mornings and unhurried drives through wine country.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to plan a spring escape, this is it.

We’ve opened a handful of last-minute Victoria Day weekend stays at The Granville Affair — a design-forward Bed and Breakfast in the Annapolis Valley where heritage architecture, thoughtful interiors, and quietly luxurious hospitality come together in Bridgetown.

Spend the day exploring wineries, coastal lookoffs, and historic towns, then return to velvet textures, soft lighting, and a stay that feels intentionally removed from the ordinary.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a solo reset, or simply looking to get a jump on summer before the season fully arrives, the Valley is at its most beautiful right now.

Last-minute availability won’t last long for the holiday weekend.

The first long weekend of summer deserves a proper celebration.

Join us at The Granville Affair for a Queen Victoria’s Birthday escape — a distinctly Canadian tradition, and one best enjoyed with a touch of style.

Arrive to hors d’oeuvres and cocktails (gin, obviously), then settle into a weekend of slow mornings, local breakfasts, and exploring the Annapolis Valley as it bursts into bloom.

Historic charm, thoughtful hospitality, and just the right amount of indulgence.

Victoria would be pleased.
We think you will be too.

Second & Third-night discounts available for the long weekend.
