🚤 Boating season is back - don’t forget your 2026 sticker!
All watercraft - including kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards - must be registered with our Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program before launching within the EID. This includes Lake Newell Reservoir, Crawling Valley Reservoir, and Rolling Hills Reservoir.
Why it matters: invasive mussels can spread quickly through our connected system, impacting water infrastructure, agriculture, and recreation. Prevention starts with you.
📍 Registration locations:
• Crawling Valley Campground — OPEN
• Kinbrook Island Provincial Park, when EID staff are present — starting May 8 @ 7 AM
• Rolling Hills Reservoir Campground — starting May 14 @ 8 AM
• Lake Newell Resort Marina — TBD
➡️ Registration is not available at the EID office without an appointment.
