The northernmost part of Sandy Lake is a unique ecological area, very shallow, mucky, and weedy - nothing like the rest of the lake! We like to call this turtle bay, as you can always find turtles sunbathing on floating logs. 🐢☀

We are so lucky this area is only a short paddle away!
