Work has started on our biggest improvement yet. By spring this timber-framed outdoor kitchen will be ready to enjoy a barbque dinner then curl up to a cozy fire all while enjoying the great outdoors.

Pretty cool watching each piece of timber being lifted over the cottage with a crane and dropped perfectly into place.

Past guests and friends have suggested putting a change room down by the lake.
We'll, you're getting your wish!
This structure will be more than a simple change room. It will be a place to hang out, share stories, have a beverage, eat your lunch and have place to go when nature calls.

We've been doing a lot of work this year improving our beach. First making it 3 times bigger thanks to Hamilton & Sons Property Maintenance work at clearing and cleaning it up. Then we added a dock and new peddle boat (to go along with our kayaks and stand up paddle boards). Then added this swimming dock in 10 feet of water so you can enjoy both the beautiful shallow, sandy entry and opportunity to dive and jump in with the big kids. Check it out!

So for the past two years we've offered guests at Vista Lago Cottage a complimentary boat tour of our three lakes, which has been extremely popular. This year we kicked it up a notch with a stop along our route for everyone's favorite summer desert thanks to the new Scoop-A-Licious location on Little Doe Lake. Now my two favorite things are together
