We are elated to announce that Alex Tischenko, Director of Finance, has been selected as our Leader of the Quarter for Q1 2026! 🎉

Since joining Hilton Vancouver Metrotown in August 2025, Alex has taken personal accountability for positively impacting our operations by streamlining our financial processes to ensure the financial success of our hotel.

Demonstrating patience, and with a strong focus on personal development, he takes time to guide both his own team, and our leaders in areas of cost control, productivity, and inventory management. Alex takes complex issues and seeks out the root cause, to ensure our compliance to policy, but also simplify processes to the benefit of our teams. He does all of this with warmth, a great sense of humour, a strong analytical focus, and an overtly inquisitive mind.
