Today marks the end of the season!! So hard to believe with the beautiful weather we are having. We want to thank everybody for a fantastic season. We will miss you all and look forward to seeing you in the spring.

🔥 Fire Ban Update – Level 1 Upcoming! 🔥

Good news, Greater Madawaska! After a couple of weeks living under the “Level 2 lockdown” (no campfires, no fun…), we’re stepping things down to a Level 1 Fire Ban effective Friday, August 29th at 8:00 AM.

✅ What’s allowed starting Friday morning:

Campfires are back! Keep them small, contained, and never leave them unattended.

BBQs and propane fire tables are always good to go.

Time to dust off the marshmallows 🍫🔥.

🚫 What’s still not allowed:

Brush, grass, or debris burning (burn permits remain suspended).

A big thank you to everyone who respected the Level 2 ban. We know it wasn’t easy, but your cooperation made a huge difference in keeping our community safe while conditions were extreme.

We’ll continue to monitor fire hazard conditions daily and update as needed — but for now, campfires are back on the menu (safely).
