Most guests stay with us for 3-10 days, however occasionally stays last much longer. In those cases, it becomes important to have a change of pace and get out in nature to get reenergized! We love the outdoors and are happy to take guests to some of our favourite spots - both in Calgary and in the mountains!

Who do you know with a Calgary hospital stay coming up in the near future? The closer we get to Stampede, the higher the hotel prices get. Last year we saw them triple!!! ($500-600/night was not uncommon!) At the Frame's Guest House, we don't do that. Our rate stays under $100/night. Our goal is to DECREASE stress for families who are dealing with a medical situation.

Some of the ways we do that include providing:
- affordable accommodation
- a healthy breakfast of your choice
- the option of having a ride to and from the hospital
- accommodation in a safe and quiet neighbourhood
- ability to store food and cook in our kitchen
- ability to do laundry as needed
- company to be with in the morning and evening if desired

Testimonial from a recent guest: Staying at the Frames Guest House is more than just a place to stay, it is an experience. All of us felt better knowing that Mom was in a safe place and had someone we trusted picking her up from the hospital.
While we stayed there, there were other guests in the house. We were apprehensive about this at first. Let me tell you that these guests became a big part of our experience. Because we were all there under the same circumstances, we were able to share our concerns, news from the day and some laughter each evening. We ended up going to meet each other’s family members in the hospital and exchanged numbers so we could be updated.
My mom now says 100% that this was the perfect place for her/us! Even though it may feel strange to book at someone else’s house, I go back to my original statement:
If you are considering booking, BOOK IT NOW!

We get it - it sounds weird to stay in a stranger's home, however despite that, our guests are so glad they made that choice! Our goal is to look after you while you look after your family member. Something wonderful happens when we do that. Both you and your family relax, knowing that you are safe and cared for.
