Our cultural chef exchange series is coming to an end!
Discover our last chef Aishling Moore from Goldierestaurant in Cork, Ireland. For her, sustainability is at the heart of her operation both in and out of the kitchen.
One of Ireland's most exciting young chefs, she was named 2020 Chef of the year by McKenna Guides and received a Bib Gourmand Award from Micheln Guide this year.

Our Cultural Chef Exchange continues to amaze us!
This week, we receive not one but two chefs in Nupo's Kitchen: Chef San Tran and Chef Nathan Gould.
Sam Tran is the head of Hanoi's new best Vietnamese restaurant, Gia Restaurant.
Nathan Gould, the 2020 Star Chef’s Rising Star, owns Martha's Vineyard Smokehouse and Sweet Reaper Hot Sauce in Boston.

This week, the Cutural Chef Exchange welcomes a two-Michelin star chef!
Chef Alberto Landgraf, one of the leading young chefs in Brazil, graces us with his presence.
He created Epice Restaurant in Sao Paulo and Oteque in Rio de Janeiro included on Latin America’s 50 Best list.
Nature’s purity is it’s main inspiration and and he works the essence of the products he chooses.
His meeting with Chef Darren promises to be rich in exchange and discovery😃

The Cutural Chef Exchange continues!

This week we have not one but TWO renowned chefs from the south to learn about our local culinary traditions.

Chef Aaron Bludorn who owns the eponymous Bludorn restaurant in Houston, Texas.
His French and Gulf Coast inspired cuisine showcases the bounty of the Houston area by using local ingredients and suppliers.

Chef Colibrí Jiménez owner of Maria Raiz y Tierra in Mérida. Her restaurant emanates from her ancestral memory and is inspired by the flavours of her land and the traditions of her family. He pays tribute to Mexican culture, to those traditions that are passed on from one generation to the next.

Our hotel is proud to host an amazing and tasty event until November, the Cultural Chef Exchange.

Chef Darren Maclean of Nupo YYC will host a rotation of ten of the world's best chefs.
During a week, the guest chefs will explore our beautiful landscape and local ingredients to learn how to marry the local flavours of Alberta and Canada with their techniques, flavours and stories.
For exceptional evenings, they will take over Darren's kitchen to create unique meals that blend our local ingredients with their international heritage.

The first chef to participate comes directly from Japan where he owns Sushi M Tokyo : Yoshinobu Kimura
As he experienced the different cuisine and culture by serving all over the world, he decided to apply his precise pairing skills to the world of sushi.
