Fall camping is still on. Not ready to pack away the camp chairs? Paddy’s Flat has an extended season. Gooseberry and Sandy McNabb Campgrounds remain open through Thanksgiving weekend as well.

Gooseberry brings the Elbow River, forested sites and quiet walks to the beaver dam. Sandy McNabb makes family camping easy with powered sites, showers, washrooms, a playground and the Sheep River close by.

These campgrounds are reservable, so book ahead and give yourself one more fall weekend outside.

A gentle reminder for everyone adventuring in WBC with four-legged best trail buddies! 🐾

*Please keep your dog under control at all times & follow posted leash requirements.

*Pack it in, pack it out & please pick up after your dog & take the bag with you.

*Keep dogs on designated trails to help protect the surrounding environment.

*Give wildlife, horses & other trail users plenty of space.

*Be mindful that not everyone, or every dog, is comfortable with an enthusiastic trail greeting.

If you witness an issue that requires enforcement, please report it directly to Alberta Parks at 310-LAND (5263). Reporting concerns through the proper channels helps ensure they reach the people who can address them.

Responsible dog ownership helps keep the trails safe & enjoyable for everyone!

A quick planning note for fall campers at Sandy McNabb: water service at the campground, comfort station and RV dump station shuts off on September 14.

Water will remain available at the Ranger Station dump station.

The campground remains open through Thanksgiving weekend, and campsites can still be reserved. Bring enough drinking water, plan ahead for changing services and check the latest Alberta Parks updates before you leave home.
