Nature always knows how to keep things interesting at Brown's Bay.

We had some very special visitors today! A pod of Pacific Whiteside dolphins decided to drop by the bay, hanging out for a couple of hours just soaking up the calm waters. There is nothing quite like watching these playful spirits cruise past the docks and boats. Island life really is the best life when your neighbors are this graceful.🐬✨

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or it’s your first time dropping a line into our deep coastal waters, there’s a thrill in chasing these "dragons of the deep" that never gets old. For those heading out this week, here’s a tip from the locals: stay close to those underwater rocky structures and keep your jigs moving: Lingcod love a bit of action!

This Friday, May 8th, we are officially opening The Narrows Floating Restaurant for the 2026 season.

Grab a seat, order a cocktail, and watch the world go by from the best view on the inside passage. Open 12pm to 8pm, Friday through Sunday!
Then for the month of May we are open Wednesday-Sunday noon-8pm.

And don't forget: Mother’s Day is this Sunday! Our specials are available all weekend long. Whether you are stopping in after a day on the water or bringing the whole family, we can’t wait to welcome you back. 🥂

There’s a quiet anticipation in the air at Brown’s Bay as the local residents start to gather. 🦅 Our neighborhood bald eagles have reclaimed their favorite perches, keeping a watchful eye on the marina waters.

If you’ve ever sat on the deck at The Narrows Floating Restaurant, you know the show! These majestic birds are the ultimate fishing pros, patiently waiting for our fishermen to return with the day's catch. It’s the kind of west coast magic you just have to see for yourself.

The wait is almost over! We are so excited to announce that The Narrows Floating Restaurant officially opens for the season this Friday, May 8th. 🍔🍻 Whether you're coming for the famous fish and chips or just to watch the eagles soar, we can't wait to welcome you back to the dock.

Crazy how warm it has already been on the island.
The fire ban was to start Thursday this week however with how hot it has been in the Bay we have decided to start today.
Sorry for all those that love our fireball, we will light it up again in the fall when the bans lifted!!
Please note, we do still allow for propane fire pits!! So still bring the marshmallows and hot dogs for some fun at night!
