As we prepare to head into this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, we want to take a minute to say "thank you!" to our incredible team.

From team members who have recently joined us to those who have been with the family for twenty or thirty years (or more!), we are so appreciative of all the hard work, dedication and support each of you brings to Mirmil each day.

✨ Employee Spotlight ✨

Give a big "hey there!" to April Elsbury, a welder with the Mirmil team!

April joined the family this past May after graduating from the Welding Technician program at Loyalist College, and has been showing off her skills since then.

April says her favourite part of the job are the opportunities - there is always something new to do and try in the Metal Shop, and it helps her continually learn, develop and grow.

In her spare time, April enjoys playing the bass guitar, journaling, and is a big fan of Platinum Blonde.

April's fun fact? She has a Model A, 1931 Ford truck - how cool is that?!

Huge thank you to Rob, aka "Flow" for taking pictures of this amazing piece of work!

While some of us assume that this is going to be a (supremely) large desk, this is actually part of a wall for a project the team is working on.

As you can see, this is no small project, and the attention to detail that the team has used in creating this supersized piece is nothing short of amazing. 🔨

✨ Employee Spotlight ✨

Everyone give it up for Jenna Dunford, one of our Drafting Specialists with the Mirmil team!

Jenna's a recent Loyalist College graduate from the Architectural Technology program, and joined the Mirmil family in May following her graduation.

Jenna says her favourite part of the job is being able to see all of the different plans and projects from architects and getting to play a critical role in helping to bring them to life.

In Jenna's spare time, she loves watching hockey! Her two favourite teams are the Montreal Canadians and Toronto Maple Leafs, and fave player is Nick Suzuki.

And fun fact - Jenna is a huge LEGO fan (no surprise - she loves the architecture sets!), and even has a room dedicated to various sets.
