🚧 Heads up for Canada Day in Canmore!
Downtown roads will be closed to vehicles from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the parade. Plan ahead—move your car early, walk, bike, or take Roam transit. Parade and festivities will make downtown busy, so give yourself extra time!
🎉 While you're downtown, stop by The Maple Station and say hi—we'll be open and celebrating too!

⚠️ Vehicle access to downtown Canmore will be significantly impacted on July 1 to accommodate the annual Canada Day parade.
What you need to know:
▪️ The downtown core will be closed to vehicles on July 1 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
▪️ No parking on 10 St. or 7 Ave. until after the parade fully disbands and roads re-open.
▪️ If you park in a public downtown lot, you will not be able to exit between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Paid parking remains in effect.
Getting around:
▪️ Where possible, walk, bike, or take free Roam local transit to access downtown.
▪️ If you live or are staying along the parade route or disbanding area, road closures will block vehicle access. Please move your vehicle before 10 a.m. if needed.
▪️ To reach grocery stores, the Canmore Nordic Centre, golf courses, and more, use Highway 1 / Three Sisters Parkway. You will not be able to cross the Bow River
bridge or travel through town.
▪️ Limited vehicle access to Elevation Place during road closures. Please use alternate modes of transportation until roads re-open.
