Harry has invited folks to come join him along the way in support of his goal. You can find the full story on Bow Valley Insider here:

Fun Fact Friday! Raven or crow??? Can you tell the difference?
Did you know they’re both smart, curious, and common sights here in the Canadian Rockies, but ravens and crows are actually quite different!
🖤 Ravens are BIGGER! Ravens are about the size of a hawk, while crows are closer to the size of a robin or small hawk.
🪶 Look at the tail! A raven’s tail is wedge-shaped when it spreads its wings, while a crow’s is more rounded.
👃 Check the beak. Ravens have a larger, heavier, more curved beak. They also have shaggy throat feathers that give them a slightly scruffy look.
🎶 Listen to the calls! Crows have the familiar “caw,” while ravens make a much deeper, croaking or grumbling sound, in fact, they have a pretty impressive variety of calls! (Do you remember the movie Predator?)
🧠 Both are incredibly intelligent. Ravens and crows belong to the corvid family, which includes some of the smartest birds in the world. They can solve problems, remember individuals, use tools, and learn from experience.
🏔️ Here in the Rockies, you’re especially likely to spot ravens. They’re perfectly adapted to our mountainous landscape and are often seen soaring over valleys, roads and cliffs.
So next time you see a big black bird soaring over The Lodges, see if you can identify it as a raven or a crow.
👀Now take a close look at our photo and comment below if you think it's a raven or a crow!

🐏 Fun Fact Friday! 🐐
Have you ever spotted a white animal high on a cliff and wondered, "Was that a mountain goat or a bighorn sheep?"
Here's how to tell them apart:
🏔️ Mountain Goats
• Bright white coat
• Slim black horns
• A shaggy beard
• Incredible climbers that spend much of their lives on steep cliffs and rocky ledges
🪨 Bighorn Sheep
• Tan to chocolate-brown coat with a white rump
• Rams have those spectacular curled horns (ewes have much smaller horns)
• Prefer open alpine meadows and rocky slopes where they can keep an eye out for predators
Both are masters of mountain living, using specially adapted hooves to navigate difficult terrain. Next time you're exploring the Canadian Rockies, see if you can identify which one you've spotted. Here's a hint: it's most likely a sheep, but now you'll know for certain!
Before heading to the mountains, book your suite at the Lodges, just minutes away from your next adventure!
