A little about us!

My husband and I with 2 dogs in tow moved to Malden in April 2016 from Vancouver, BC. This was a HUGE move for us leaving our families behind, and starting fresh but knowing we can stay connected and having a place they can visit made our decision somewhat easier. It was time for us to start living a calmer and more enjoyable lifestyle. So after hours of google searching and buying a property onli

ne we made the buy and move! Being avid outdoors people, our interests include biking, hiking, fishing, and camping, New Brunswick definitely met our wants and needs!! After living here we have already realized how beautiful and peaceful the area is and how friendly the people are in all the little communities. We have decided that we wish to share the experience and the community with others. In turn we made an investment and in December 2017 and we purchased a semi-renovated church. We’ve upgraded the prior renovations and designed a cottage with a coastal design for tourist rentals. From the sandy beaches to the ocean, from the fresh produce to farm fresh meats, from farmers markets to craft stores….there is a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy!

Thank you to all our friends and supporters for liking and sharing our posts and giving us your support from beginning to end.

And most importantly Thank you to My husband who wore the Mr Fix it Hat ❤️ My daughter - who wore the Social Media Expert Hat ❤️ and My son - who wore the Helpful Shopper and Advisor Hat, without you all this endeavor would have not been as successful and fun!!

The doors are now closed and Blue Anchor Getaway is and will always be a sweet memory and proof we can accomplish and succeed at anything we put our minds to!!
