A reminder to all visitors, the annual domestic animal ban in PEI National Park comes into effect today.
From April 1 to October 15, domestic animals – including dogs, cats, and horses – will not be permitted on the beaches of PEI National Park. This measure is in place to provide a safe environment for visitors and to protect wildlife and their habitats.
Dogs are permitted in all other outdoor areas of the park, such as trails and campgrounds. Please note that all pets must be on a leash (maximum 3 metres in length) at all times and owners are required to clean up after their pet.
