DINNER TO BE HELD AT THE “WHITE SANDS HOTEL” - Prince Edward Island will become a fan destination when it hosts the first-ever Road to Avonlea convention this summer from August 7-9. The much loved televison series which aired Sunday nights on CBC from 1990-1996 will reunite fan-favourite cast members Maja Ardal (Clara Potts), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), Ian D. Clark (Simon Tremayne), John Friesen (Archie Gillis), Kyle Labine (Davey Keith), and James O'Regan (Abner Jeffries), alongside panels with crew members, series experts, and members of the Lucy Maud Montgomery’s family. Highlights include a VIP reception, a special dinner at Dalvay By The Sea (the show’s iconic White Sands Hotel) and exclusive tours of filming locations and Montgomery’s home.
