We are hiring a Housekeeper for this season.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, dependable, and mature, can work independently and follow instructions, pays attention to detail and has a passion for cleanliness, works well in a fast paced environment, is flexible, has good physical stamina, has great time management skills for prioritizing tasks, and carries a positive and motivated mindset.

Hours of Work:
*Completed between 11 & 3
*Schedule varies, could be any day of the week, based on bookings
*Part-time hours

Current Certificate of Conduct and 3 References Required

Previous experience as a housekeeper/cleaner is preferred

It's so awesome when you go out on the water. You never know what you'll see. Love it!

Good day. Just a quick update. The weather conditions here have been very windy and cold and the forecast for next week does not show much improvement. The high today is expected to be 5c. We did spot the STSE from land yesterday being chased and getting tangled up with a resident bald eagle. No pictures but we can confirm our sighting because the STSE was ‘quacking’ in-flight.

On the one sensible day we had last week, Leah, a birder from Ontario, took this picture of white-beaked dolphins that put on a show for us, jumping and swimming in our wake. Picture used with permission.

Welcome to all of our new followers!! So happy to have you join us!!🥰

We are 📍located in Whiteway, on Route 80, on the Avalon Peninsula. We make the perfect home base for exploring the Baccalieu Coastal Drive and all of Eastern Newfoundland.🚗 We're just 1 hr 15 mins from St. John's and within an hour or two radius of so many amazing sites and experiences.

Each suite is self-contained (apartment like) 🏘with its own outside entrance, kitchen, deck, and bbq. Suite # 3 and Deluxe overlook an active fishing harbour in our outport community.

We are next door to 🏌‍♀️Pitcher's Pond Golf course, nearby 🚶‍♂️many trails and historic sites, resraurants, shops, artisans, beaches, breweries, and more.

D***o Brewery is just a 10-15 min drive from our place, the historic sites and UNESCO nominee Cable Station Museum in Heart's Content 25 min drive, Brigus, Salmon Cove Sands, Cape St. Mary's Bird Sanctuary, Mistaken Point UNESCO site, and so much more, can be done in day trips from our place. We can provide you with many recommendations.

In Whiteway, besides the golf course, there is a corner store(with everything from rubber boots to ice cream cones), a food truck, art shop, walking trail, pond swimming area, heritage premises, ball field, playground, Shagrock, and just a stroll to the wharf.

And if renting the Deluxe you can upgrade your stay to include sessions in our new🛖 barrel sauna with panoramic views of the harbour, Trinity Bay and the famous Shagrock.

🌅Spectacular sunsets, salty fresh air, 🦅gulls and eagles soaring and squawking, strolls to the wharf, watching fishermen🚤 come and go are just some of the experiences to expect with your stay. You might even see 🧊an iceberg or a whale!!!🐳
