We`re renewing this beloved destination while preserving its natural beauty. Plage St-Pierre is a 67 acre campground on the coast of Chéticamp Island, in the Municipality of the County of Inverness. It boasts 2,500 feet of private sandy beach. 90 seasonal sites, 66 overnight sites, 1 trailers, 1 one-bedroom chalet and 1 two-bedroom chalet. Plage St-Pierre is a popular destination for tourists and

seasonal occupants with a range of on-site amenities, including walking trails, a sandy beach and a mini golf course. Other features include a mixed-use main building, maintenance building, storage, washrooms and showers and coin operated laundry facilities. Surrounding Plage St-Pierre is Chéticamp, is a beautiful Acadian fishing village with rich culture, whale-watching, horseback riding and fresh coastal cuisine. The world-renowned Cabot Trail runs through the village, which leads north to Le Portage Golf Club and Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The park features stunning vistas, forested river canyons, cliffs, beaches, trails and wildlife.

Today`s throwback is extra special. Many of you know our favourite Facebook models- affectionally called "our little mermaids". Long before they earned that nickname , these sisters (and their wonderful parents) began their Plage St Pierre journey. In 2021, they stayed in one of our rental trailers , and today they`re part of our seasonal family in their very own trailer. Thank you to their parents, and of course our little mermaids, for being such a cherished part of our community.
