And season 2026 has begun!!! Deep Valley would like to dedicate our Week One to Howard Anderson who passed away this summer. Howard was a Guide with DeepValley in 2025. Buddy, we certainly missed you and your smile this week .
Our week one got off to an amazing start! Five beautiful animals and some very happy clients! We were off the grid for the first week with problems with our Starlink but we survived and in the process had a ton of laughs and lots of great stories and conversations! Just like in the old days! 😀

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this post today. Last Friday we lost a member of our hunting family, who was also my Brother-In-Law. Howard was only with us for a year but managed to create lots of fun memories and certainly enjoyed his job as Guide to the fullest. Always a pleasure to have around and one hell of a team player who always wore a big smile. All of us at Deepvalley are sending Darlene, Steve and Scott our prayers and love. As you can see by the photos, he had lots smiles always. We are going to miss you lots. Fly high with the Angels my Buddy!
