A summer resort hotel since the 1930's, Dalvay retains the same pristine beauty which originally enticed the MacDonald family to this beautiful setting. Dalvay By-The-Sea is located at the east end of Prince Edward Island National park on scenic Dalvay Beach. There are 25 guest rooms; all are largely furnished in period antiques and all rooms offer a four-piece private bath. Please call or visit o

ur website for rooms rates. In addition, there are eight three-bedroom cottages located adjacent to the inn, offering vistas of the ocean, Dalvay Lake and acres of manicured grounds. The inn currently operates from May 1, 2023 through October 28th, 2023, offering both accommodations and dining. There are no televisions, phones or radios in our guests rooms for a truly relaxing getaway. Dalvay also offers a fully smoke-free environment in all guest rooms, cottages and inside public areas. We also feature wireless internet on the property. Our dining room is also open to the public for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner daily. Our Executive Chef and culinary team, are pleased to offer you the finest in island dining in a unique and relaxing atmosphere.

Fall Flavours is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Dalvay by the Sea on Friday, October 2nd for The Five Senses of Fall. 🍂

There’s something special about gathering at Dalvay this time of year. We’re looking forward to an evening of great food, drinks, and even better company as we celebrate the flavours of fall together.
