Quaaout Lodge & Spa at Talking Rock Golf Resort, the pride of the Little Shuswap Band, is situated on the south shore of Little Shuswap Lake. Located midway between Vancouver & Calgary the Resort is located just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from Kelowna International Airport. The Lodge underwent a four month renovation i

n winter of 2009, which included re-designing all hotel guest rooms, our restaurant, Jack Sam’s and hotel exterior. Balconies were added to all rooms and suites for our guests to enjoy the view of the lake and surrounding woods. The Lodge is open for reservations daily, taking bookings for individual travelers, banquets, groups, meetings and golf. June of 2012 brought the grand opening of our world class Le7Ke Spa. With many great features including a Vichy shower, and infrared sauna, this is a great addition to the lodge. Come and enjoy a couple's massage, or receive a solo treatment while your spouse is golfing!

This week's specials at Jack Sam's are doing the most, in the best way.

The Maple Salmon Burger comes grilled and stacked with fresh mango salsa, ancho lime aioli, and arugula, sweet, smoky, and a little bit messy in the best way.

Then there's the Strawberry and Shrimp Salad: grilled shrimp, chèvre, gem tomatoes, and fresh strawberries all tossed in a strawberry poppy seed dressing, finished with pumpkin seed brittle for crunch.

$26 for the burger, $28 for the salad, and either one is a good reason to come hungry this week.

Two new dishes just joined the weekly rotation at Jack Sam's.

The Pit Boss ($26) brings BBQ pulled pork, cowboy candy, cheese curds, and crispy onions stacked on a 6 oz all-beef patty.

The Rice Noodle Salmon Bowl ($28) keeps things lighter: soy-cured salmon with carrots, red onion, peppers, and a sesame vinaigrette over rice noodles.

Whichever way you're leaning this week, both are worth the trip.

New week, new specials at Jack Sam's 🍔🥗

The Greek: a lemon and garlic seasoned 6oz patty stacked with spinach, feta, red onion, fresh tomato and tzatziki. $26.

Cobb Salad: romaine and sui choy, pulled chicken, egg, cucumber, gem tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, and avocado ranch. $28.

Pair it with our Nine and Dine: 9 holes, a shared cart, practice facility access, and a $10 food voucher to use right here. Monday to Thursday, tee times after 3:30pm.
