Gold Panner Campground The Gold Panner Campground is situated at the entrance to the Monashee mountains surrounded by roari This place still has gold through out the grounds.

Founded on a Chinese heritage mining operation, the grounds are surrounded with history dating back to 1840. During the 1800′s Chinese came to the historic site to mine gold for the emperor of China. After searching and exploring the grounds you will be very surprised at the amount of Gold on the property and the surrounding area. The adventure of becoming a Gold Panner and learning the history is

one that will remain in your thoughts your entire life. Its a piece of Canada so rich with history and heritage that it makes an experience of a life time.

🛖 Meet Happy Jack 🛖

This little dry cabin has SO much character! And now with our recent upgrades including this slick log bunk bed, it sleeps up to 4! (I call top bunk!! 🙋‍♀️)

Our dry cabins are great for those who don't want anything super glam for amenities, but who also don't want to sleep on the ground (our old backs just ain't built for that anymore, alright?) Stay dry and warm, tucked away in this cozy AF little log number.

Another upgrade we made - all of our cabins and chalets now include linens and propane, too! No more BYOB 🙅‍♀️ (bedding, that is...)

Happy Jack is filling fast for the summer, don't miss out!

There's not much that dippin' your dogs in a crisp, cool creek can't fix! I swear there's something about it that just resets my nervous system every time (and it's an added bonus that I can pan for gold from this very spot!)

⛏️ Meet Site 16 ⛏️

Located nice and close to one of the main trailheads down to the creek, this is one of my favourite sites to recommend to folks coming to do a few days of gold panning!

Site 16 is equipped with 30amp power, water, and sani services, and is lined with beautiful, tall cedars which provide great daytime shade. Nearby lilac bushes and a hidden birdhouse give this site a ton of character.
