Tamihi Meadows Cabins & RV Park Cabins & RV Park on the Chwk River focusing on peace & quiet. There's great fishing & swimming on our beach. Great for ATVs, hikers & whitewater kayakers!

The sites include some with power, group & seasonals. Pets & big rigs ok & water on site. Only 20 minutes from town in the forest along the Chwk River & at the base of Church Mountain. Very popular for ATVer's, hikers & whitewater kayakers & swimming in late summer & world class fishing on our beach! You can launch your Kayak off our beach or ride out our gate directly onto the forest road to ride the unlimited trails. Our very calm, gentle horses are often free ranged on the site, but not on the really busy weekends. I often come down to entertain the kids (& adults) with my parrot that does a show (when she feels like it!), my pet baby peacock, & sometimes an occasional other farm bird or animal if the weather is decent. Please check our website first as we do have a lot of rules to make sure everyone has a good time. We accept only self-contained units or people that have their own toilet as porta potties are only opened for events or emptying your portable toilet.

Tamihi Meadows has six tiny rustic cabins that give you the real camp feel without the tent.

Think back-to-basics: a real bed, your own linens and pillows, no indoor plumbing, no kitchen, shared outhouse facilities, and plenty of river, trees, wildlife, firepits and fresh air.

Some cabins have river views. Others sit by the pond.

Walk down to the river beach, fish nearby (bring your licence), head out on ATV trails from the gate, or catch the free-range horses wandering through in the evening.
And if you want more adrenaline, the Tamihi rapids (Class IV whitewater) are also nearby.

Grab the last warm days and trade the city for river views, simple comforts, and a getaway that’s unapologetically rustic.
Tamihi Meadows has powered RV sites, including riverside and river-view options, plus six tiny rustic cabins, fishing near Osborne Hole, ATV trails straight from the gate, a river beach, free-range horses, and one resident parrot with a lot of personality.
It’s about 20 minutes from Chilliwack and roughly 1.5 hours from Vancouver, so you don’t need months of planning to make a weekend of it.
A few things to know before you book:
Self-contained RVs only. No tent camping. Cabins have no indoor plumbing or full kitchens. Bring your own linens and pillows. Water on site is non-potable. You may use firepits when local fire restrictions allow.
If you’ve been saying, “we should get away before summer’s over,” this is your sign.
