CLOSURES of the Trans Canada Trail. (Kettle Valley Rail Trail - West of Beaverdell region and the Columbian and Western Rail Trail between Fife and Santa Rosa above Christina Lake)
Recreation Sites and Trails BC shared they will be completing work at 2 locations between June 9th and 17th and that the trail will be closed to all users at those locations for the duration of the works. Expected closure dates for the locations are as follows:
KV-014 Weird Creek ( Closed June 9th -12th )
On going project approximately 10km north of Beaverdell (~3km north of Lois Station).
CW-042 Sutherland Creek (Closed June 14th -17th )
Located at the large fill over Sutherland creek between the Fife rd and Santa Rosa Rd access points upslope of Christina Lake.
The work sites/closures will be localized so users can ride right up to them but will not be able to pass through them during active operations (~8am – 6pm).
