Good morning from home!!
So much snow outside, but nice and cozy on the deck.
Dmytri set up the new hot tub, cleaning off the deck, re-staining it and getting it ready for our family visit next week!

Hello from Barcelona Spain!! Our holiday is winding down, it’s been a great adventure traipsing through Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, France and Spain…can’t forget a stopover in Brussels!!
It will be good to get back home and into the swing of things.
We still have a few openings for October and November, but not much.

Our season has come to an end.
Our last two guests depart on tomorrow’s train.
Today, we received a lovely card and pen from Kischikamee Wildlife Adventure’s, Norman & Andy.
It was a pleasure doing business with them, awesome group of guests.
Dmytri, Laika & I would like to thank all our travellers who passed through our home. We wish you all a good winter.

Our new sign, painted by my talented niece, Nickia!!
The sign depicts our marvellous “Bear Dog”, Laika and a Polar Bear in our backyard last November!
My husband, Dmytri is a more of “behind the scenes” person but will often make an appearance to chat with our guests…sometimes chef up his famous Stuffed Arctic Char supper ❤️
The last photo is Laika…our 13 year old Alaskan Malamute, who still is not afraid to take her stand when a bear is near.

Tonight we said “Safe travels” to Helga as she makes her way back to her home in New Zealand.
She spent 6 wonderful days with us…we shared meals, laughs and chats.
She has so much wisdom regarding the Māori culture, it was fascinating to listen to her.
She left a few souvenirs from her home❤️❤️
