OUR STORY

In 2020, we were the first to embrace the tiny home movement in Clare, Nova Scotia! We fell in love with the idea that a tiny home allows our guests to experience our vision for our Tiny Village and Marina which is to offer a beautiful minimalist space for a comfortable but simple vacation in a peaceful location. Our tiny homes and our anchored yacht are very functional with everything

you will need during your stay. In 1958 my grandfather purchased his first piece of land on Clearwater Lake. Over the years, our family bought more adjacent land and being such a beautiful place to spend quality time making wonderful memories, we have now decided to share this piece of paradise with our guests. We are situated on a small cove on the lake sheltered from the prominent winds. Five generations of our family have enjoyed their summers on this spring-fed crystal clear lake and now our guests can enjoy the lake by going fishing (bass, white perch and occasional trout) swimming or exploring the area on our kayaks, canoe or paddleboard. One of, if not my favourite part of our property is the beautiful view just outside the door, the sunrises are just amazing and at night stargazing is a must! The chairs on each guest’s front patio make it ideal for enjoying an ice-cold beverage at the end of the day. Enjoy the peace and quiet of our property and relax by your private fire pit cooking meals on the grill or roasting marshmallows! Relax and enjoy the peaceful views from our well-groomed grounds with a private beach and wharf for our guests. And as a bonus, on occasion, some of our other visitors include loons, Canada geese, ducks, beavers, owls, bald eagles and many more species! Enjoy one of our 2 tiny homes (the third one coming in June 2022), our small cottage (sleeps 4 people) and 1 anchored yacht (sleeps 4) (also coming in June 2022)! Happy birthday Kaitlyn 💙, the most amazing woman known on this part of the continent. I promised you last year things were going to slow down, but I feel I've been wrong by saying this every year and once again this past year🤪; however, I am guessing you have adapted and normalized our busy life. You juggle so much every day, and we are so lucky to have you. We love you and cannot say thank you enough. Keep being the person you are, keep achirving your dreams and goals, you are rocking it. Can't wait to see what you will accomplish this year💪🏼
